Curtis Baer, President and CEO
Curtis started BSG in 1997 after spending twenty years in a variety of sales, marketing and general management roles with three Fortune 500 companies as well as a couple smaller, lesser known companies. He hired dozens of employees during his corporate career and found the greatest satisfaction in achieving ambitious goals as a result of selecting and developing the right people. In fact, his passion for evaluating and attracting best-in-class talent led him to the executive search field where he has placed literally hundreds of technical, managerial and professional candidates since 1997. His formal education includes a B.A. in Constitutional Law and an MBA with a focus in Marketing and Human Resources Management.
As a volunteer, he has led one of the world's largest career counseling advisory groups and offers his speaking services free to groups requiring career advice. He also volunteers his time advising students on the selection of undergraduate and graduate school programs and marketplace entry.
Curtis is married and has four grown children.
